Holborn Islamic school Details:
Holborn Islamic school was established after 2010 to provide an Islamic education for the younger generation. We currently have classes running on weekdays between Monday and Thursday from 5 – 7pm.
Class Times:
- Quran and Tajweed classes Mondays to Wednesdays 5 – 7pm
- Islamic studies classes Thursdays 5 – 7pm
Our Syllabus Structure::
- Learn the Arabic alphabet with correct pronunciation
- Recite the Quran with full confidence, fluently and with Tajweed
- Memorise up to 20 surahs from Juzz Amma and then carry on memorising as many surahs as possible
- Learn the correct method of offering salah/praying
- Learn the seerah/biography of the Prophet Mohammed (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
- General Islamic fiqh and jurisprudence sessions
- Supplications (duas and Kalimas)
- Akhlaq/character building
Enrolment Rules:
- Children must be active and enthusiastic in their learning
- Be punctual and have good attendance
- Study under the guidance of competent teachers in a pleasing environment
- Parents must make sure all homework is completed to the highest standard and they check and sign their child’s diaries weekly
- Be kind and respectful of their teachers, classmates and treat the masjid with respect and dignity
Fees & class availability:
- The fee structure is as follows:
- 1 student – £130 per term (3 terms – £390)
- 2 students – £230 per term (3 terms – £690)
- 3 students – £330 per term (3 terms – £990)
- A discount is applied if the fee is paid as a one off annual payment
- We currently have 3 classes running at our masjid:
- The boys class (for boys aged 7 – 16)
- The girls class ( for girls aged 7 – 16)
- The beginner class (For boys and girls aged 5 – 8)
To enrol your child or children, please pick up a form from the masjid. We would like to inform you that places can only be offered at the Holborn Islamic school based on availability. If a class is full, your child will be placed on a waiting list

We will notify you in advance before any holidays commence or need alteration; you may also view our Academic yearly planner to note the exact dates.
